US Actor Freeman’s Claims US at War With Russia ‘Emotional Exaltation’

The actor appears in a video accusing Vladimir Putin of interfering with the United States democratic process.

Famous Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman is suffering from emotional stress, the Kremlin said on Wednesday in response to a campaign calling for an investigation into Russian interference into US affairs.

The Kremlin does not take seriously USA actor Morgan Freeman’s words that the United States is at war with Russian Federation seriously, it believes such claims to be an “emotional exaltation”, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

“They become victims of an emotionally charged, self-exalted status, an extension of some sort of McCarthyism, I would say”.

Similar to Zakharova, the Kremlin-backed RT News dismissed the Freeman video, arguing that his claims “are not based on real facts and are purely emotional“.

He compared events to a movie script and said the attack was masterminded by Mr Putin “a former KGB spy, angry at the collapse of his motherland” who “plots a course for revenge”.

The carrying out three Congressional investigations and an independent special counsel probe into allegations that Russian Federation influenced the 2016 presidential election in support of President Donald Trump.

The Committee to Investigate Russia was recently launched by Hollywood stars Robert Reiner and David Frum as a way to “understand the gravity of Russia’s invasion of our democracy”.
