Teacher accused of bringing students home for sex

According to ArkansasOnline, authorities allege that “one student was dropped off by a friend at Goline’s residence in Jonesboro, where the two had sexual intercourse, …”

A former art teacher at a northeast Arkansas high school is accused of having inappropriate relationships with four students and reportedly took two to her apartment for sex on the same day.

In June, Connecticut special education teacher Laura Ramos was arrested for having a sexual relationship with one of her students.

Police claim she told them she did have sexual relations with four students, but believed one of them was 18, when he was “way younger than what he had told her”. Goline allegedly told one of her students how “good” he looked in her class and then sent that student a photo of herself wearing thong underwear.

Another student said Goline picked him up in the town of Marked Tree, then drove him to her apartment in Jonesboro, where they had sex twice.

Police began to investigate her alleged sexual affairs when a parent accused her of the crime. Her name is also given as Jessie Lorene Goline. The victim said yet another student was at Goline’s apartment that same night. School officials reported the accusations to a hotline while Goline went into the administrative office and began crying.

All four of the students had started texting with the art teacher, and said the exchanges became more sexually charged over time.

Parents say she was still gone when school started last month, but it’s not clear if she’s still on leave or was ultimately fired. The parent had accused Goline of having sex with multiple students.

Wright contacted the Marked Tree Police Department.

According to Fox News, “Goline was booked into the Craighead County Detention Center Wednesday afternoon on a $5,000 bond, and was waiting for an October 31 court appearance” but was released later in the day.

Goline was booked at Craighead County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.

If convicted she could face 40 years to life in prison.
