Patriots' Rob Gronkowski's injury 'not believed to be serious&#39

Rob Gronkowski called it “another Monday”, meaning he worked out, watched film and feels good.

Signs point toward a minor injury that will not keep Gronkowski out of next Sunday’s tilt against the Texans, as the further testing appears just precautionary.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots celebrate after a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints at the Sueprdome on September 17, 2017. He walked to the sideline under his own power after being tackled by Vonn Bell and Marcus Williams.

Gronkowski had six grabs for 116 yards, leading the team, when he got hurt with a few minutes to go in the third quarter.

“Super relieved”, Gronkowski said. “He then picked up his travel bag, flashed a smile and thumbs-up, and said, ‘But I’m good'”.

He called himself day to day. Dorsett, who caught three passes for 68 yards, added that he hopes to practice this week.

The biggest beneficiary in this game was running back CJ Anderson, coming off a torn meniscus that kept him out of the second half of last season.
