Fire crews are continuing to battle a huge fire at a warehouse on White Hart Lane in north London.
Twenty-five fire engines were sent to fight the fire in a storage unit in White Hart Lane in Tottenham.
A Tottenham warehouse, around a mile and half away from the construction site of Spurs’ new stadium, is alight, with 25 fire engines sent to the scene after the London Fire Brigade was contacted just after 8pm.
Films captured by Twitter user @MFGN1 showed how quickly the blaze was spreading.
The alarm was raised to the storage unit fire at around 8.15pm on Monday, with 140 firefighters tackling the fire at its peak.
More than 100 firefighters spent the night tackling a blaze at a north London warehouse.
Local MP, David Lammy, praised the “bravery and rapid response” of the fire service.
The service received more than 40 calls from members of the public, who were warned to close their windows as smoke spread across the area.
According to the Evening Standard, some locals reported losing power.
A LFB spokeswoman said warehouse storage units were alight and officers were still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
