Simran, Day 1 collections: Kangana Ranaut’s power play gets a slow start

The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 15 September 2017.

National award-Winning director Hansal Mehta’s forthcoming film Simran, which has Kangana Ranaut essaying the role of a woman who pursues happiness despite stumbling on the way, is set to break stereotype and urging to dream big with the film.

Bollywood’s bundle of talent, Kangana Ranaut is an artiste par excellence. It is touted to be a comedy-drama film loosely based on Sandeep Kaur, an NRI who lived in US and was convicted of four bank robberies. The song is composed by Sachin-Jigar and written by Vayu.

Simran is estimated to be made on a budget of Rs 30 Crores inclusive of printing and advertising cost.

This weekend will remain crucial for “Queen” Kangana!

Ever since the trailer of Simran was dropped upon us, many including us were waiting desperately for the film to hit the theatres. The film is supposed to end its very first weekend with the total first-weekend box office collection of around Rs. 8 crores. He also shared the first-day collection of film.

Kangana Ranaut’s Friday released Simran failed to grab enough attention of the audience. However, she denied that role also and said that she does not even know what the script was.

As per early estimates, the first day collection of Simran will be around 3 crores. The film is expected to generate the business of around 4 crores on the second day i.e. Saturday. Let’s see how Hansal Mehta directorial film will perform at the box office in the upcoming days. And the only credit for the first-day box office collection goes to the actress Kangana Ranaut. We hope the film will show notable growth in the box office collection. Kangana’s acting is something which has been appreciated more than any other aspects of the film.
