A vengeful bride-to-be stole thousands of dollars from her would-be groom and dozens of his friends, charging them all for an global bachelor party she was only pretending to be arranging.
Chris Mahone, 27, let his fiancée Rachel Doran, 29, take charge of his stag trip but when the excited group of friends arrived at the airport, they discovered they had been conned.
But when Mr Mahone and friends arrived at the airport, they found she had allegedly charged them £440 each and provided them with fake boarding passes and local travel agency documents.
Ms Doran reportedly has fled the couple’s home in Whitehaven and is staying in a caravan park 20 miles away in Allonby.
Sources told the Sun the bride-to-be was motivated by revenge, believing her partner had cheated on her, a claim his friends denied.
A source told the paper: ‘They’re anxious she’s taken that as well.
“Some of us only earn $263 a week and have been saving since March”.
Chris shared a screenshot of a message from a Sun reporter while apologizing to his friends for the disaster. “I’m sorry boys I really am”.
Loyal pals posted a series of online pictures mocking Rachel, including one of her starring in the film Runaway Bride. After that we couldn’t get hold of her.

After realising what had happened, nine of the party chose to fly to Malaga instead but the groom remained in Leeds.
Another relative, who did not want to be named, said: “We are all devastated”.
“One relative said the family was devastated after the farce, adding: “[Chris] thought she was the most incredible fiancee ever, for organising the stag and everything”.
She said: “Her parents are just devastated, embarrassed and disgusted – they won’t even come out the house”.
They only discovered the trip was not booked when they tried to check in for their flight last Thursday.
