Amazon is reportedly weighing Boston as its second headquarters.
The second headquarters, which Amazon says will be comparable in size to its existing base in Seattle, will mean 50,000 jobs and $5B in investment, the company says. The new office is expected to add 900 jobs and will be close to General Electric’s new headquarters.

Amazon is accepting proposals until October 19 and is expected to announce their new location in 2018.
Charlotte is pulling out all the stops to try to convince Amazon to build a new $5 billion dollar campus headquarters in the Charlotte area.
