A 40-year-old San Jose man suspected in a fatal stabbing Friday evening and another attempted knife attack minutes earlier was arrested, police said on Saturday.
Police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Later someone called police to allege that the disturbance was a stabbing.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was stabbed in Aston in Birmingham.
Police said they broadcast to other law enforcement agencies the description of the stabbing suspect’s vehicle and a Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputy spotted the vehicle on Bentoak Lane in San Jose.
The coroner’s office said Saturday it would not release the homicide victim’s name until the man’s relatives are notified.
Several hours later, a Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputy spotted the auto witnesses reported the suspect in the attacks was driving and pulled it over about midnight on Bentoak Lane in San Jose.
