Linkin Park singer in family photo days before his death

Almost two months after his death, singer Chester Bennington’s widow Talinda Bennington is sharing one of the very last images of him alive.

Since Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington committed suicide on July 20th, his wife has been using her grief to do good.

Talinda also reached out to Creed rocker Scott Stapp to join the movement after opening up about his depression and past addiction problems in an interview, and Jared Leto after he paid tribute to Chester and Chester’s late friend Chris Cornell at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

Bennington’s Linkin Park bandmates also set up a suicide prevention website providing resources for those struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts.

Linkin Park members Mike Shinoda and Phoenix have spent their time after Chester’s death, retweeting pictures and videos of commemorative tributes made by fans. How do I pick up my shattered soul? Today, the widow of the artist, reinforces this feeling by posting on Twitter a photo of one of the last moments that she spent at her husband’s side.

“The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left. I’m a big believer that it’s okay to let go of your past and explore new territory, so that’s what we’re doing”. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy.

“I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive. Our fairy tale has recently turned to the drama”, she wrote then.
