Yuddham Sharanam Movie Review

The movie goes on a serious note entirely in the second half. Visit back for our frank review soon.

The makers of the film took a unique strategy to promote the film.

Srikanth looks good but his role should been written well, though he did well overall impact is missing for sure. Murali Sharma and Ravi Varma are okay.

Lavanya Tripathi has got nearly no presence in the second half. Upcoming comedian Priyadarshi Pullikonda too completely wasted with no proper characterization. On the whole the first half has an emotional family drama with an interesting crime element.

– Naayak (Srikanth) is trying to kill Arjun (Chai) and his family to bury his identity behind the bomb blasts.

Parts of the film remind one of Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo, and Naga Chaitanya gets enough chances to display heroics (including some impressive night vision fight sequences).

Technical: Story-line of Yuddham Sharanam is thin. The first half offers no twists and turns including the interval bang, yet a decent watch so far due to Revathi and Rao Ramesh performances. His other family members file a suspicious death case. The movie scores on the charming performances by the cast for which Krishna should be commended for extracting the best out of the actors. The flashback scenes are about Arjun’s ife with his family and the love story between him and Anjali. Arjun experiments with Drone making. Story shifts between past and current.

Indian Express is of the view that Yuddham Sharanam is similar to Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo: Yuddham Sharanam follows a pattern that we have seen in various other films in the past. Now he is coming to entertain everyone with his new movie, Yuddham Sharanam.

Naga Chaitanya scored big with his last movie Rarandoi Veduka Chudham which opened to mixed reviews but earned well at the box office. It’s said to be an action-thriller movie with family entertainment imbibed into the narrative. But as in all the recent Telugu films, director Krishna too looses grip on the second half and ends things in an unconvincing manner. Not much is known about the director’s style except the fact that he had been Naga Chaitanya’s schoolmate and also a friend.

Dr Anjali (Revathy) and her husband Muralikrishna (Rao Ramesh) are at a theatre watching Sagara Sangamam for their 30th anniversary.

The actual show stealer by the virtue of the trailer is Srikanth. Srikanth plays a unsafe criminal in the movie. Lavanya Tripati justifies with her role and looks gorgeous. He look handsome throughout the movies. Sai Korrapati and Rajani Korrapati are producing the film under the producer banner Vaarahi Chalana Chitram. So, we are tempted to believe that this movie is going to fare well despite the low buzz.

Yuddham Sharanm movie came up with high expectations. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles and has Srikanth playing a pivotal role.

At a runtime of 140 minutes, Yuddham Sharanam tries to weave a convincing tale of revenge and love. This is very poor. If only the rest of the film had something interesting to perk us up.
