Notre Dame releases basketball schedule: ‘Toughest ever’

Here’s a look at the full 2017-18 ACC schedule. They will play three games in the NCAA exempt event with two games – against Fordham and Colorado State – coming in the Jamaica and a home game against The Citadel. Duke plays Louisville at home on February 21 at 9 p.m., and welcomes Syracuse to Cameron Indoor Stadium on February 24.

Duke’s 18-game ACC regular season schedule includes 11 games against 2017 NCAA Tournament participants, including home-and-homes with North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Twenty games are set for the opening weekend involving league teams, including Georgia Tech facing UCLA in Shanghai, China. WFU only plays UNC once, in both teams’ conference opener.

January 6-20: It’s hard to pick any stretch of games against ACC opponents that are easy. Mann has played in 69 games during the first two seasons of his career. The Blue Devils will wrap up the month with their ACC home opener, hosting Florida State at 2 p.m. ET on December 30 (CBS). The Blue Devils will then get two full days in Durham preparing before traveling to Pittsburgh to face what should be the ACC’s worst team on January 10.

After the tough start, Wake Forest will have four of its next five games at home with matchups against Virginia, Duke, Florida State and Clemson. The Blue Devils haven’t lost to the Demon Deacons at home since 1997, reeling off 18 consecutive wins over Wake at Cameron Indoor. The Blue Devils then get the rest of the week at home to prepare for Pittsburgh on January 20. Notre Dame is at Michigan State on November 30 as part of the Big Ten-ACC Challenge. The Hoosiers have a new coach in former N.C. State guard and assistant Archie Miller, so they probably won’t contend for the Big Ten title this season. The game against Tulane will be their first since playing the Green Wave in 1995 and their game against Oklahoma State will be the first between the two teams since 1964.

“We have assembled a very competitive schedule for our team this season”, said Hamilton.

Duke will close out the regular season with three of its final four games in Durham against Louisville, Syracuse and North Carolina in the finale.

Notre Dame will appear on ESPN’s Big Monday three times – the road games against North Carolina and Duke and a home game against Miami on February 19.

North Carolina and Duke will renew the conference’s marquee rivalry on February 8 in Chapel Hill, N.C. They will play again at Cameron Indoor Stadium in nearby Durham on March 3 to end the regular season.
