Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger calls for end to Mesut Ozil, legends spat

Arsene Wenger’s inability to win major trophies is affecting Arsenal player, according to Kolo Toure.

“He was stunned and bitterly disappointed when Oxlade-Chamberlain rejected the club’s final contract offer (an enormous pay rise that would have earned him close to £180,000-a-week if Arsenal made it back into the Champions League)”.

The 32-year-old has endured a nightmare recovery over the past 11 months as he’s been forced to undergo eight separate operations following a number of complications.

However, it looks like the Spaniard is ready to step-up his recovery as Wenger has revealed that Cazorla is due to begin running outdoors at London Colney today.

Asked if it was disappointing to hear that Lemar did not want to join Arsenal, Wenger said in a press conference: “It’s not true“.

“Santi is having his first run today, so that is quite positive”, Wenger said.

Both managers have had a number of clashes over the years, with Mourinho constantly critical of Wenger’s recent years at Arsenal, often appearing to criticize the Frenchman’s lack of success at the Emirates over the last few years.

“The flexibility of his ankle is good and his mobility is good”.

The 28-year-old said the ex-Arsenal players aiming shots at him should be more supportive during the hard times.

“I hope after Christmas he will be available”.

The 67-year-old, who is renowned for rarely losing his cool outside of matches, is said to have thrown both barrels at the England global, who was signed from Southampton for £15million in 2011.

Arsene Wenger’s side come into the game in poor form following back-to-back defeats.
