Ozil Fires Back At Arsenal Legends Who Criticise Him

Actions speak louder than words and no one knows that better than Mesut Ozil.

The Germany worldwide, who has often been criticised for sub-standard performances when things are not going right, has hit back at his critics, especially those who use to play for the London club.

“Six titles in four years is quite something”. The 28-year-old received the ball on the left side of the box from Jonas Hector, before firing it into the top left corner to kick-start proceedings for the Germans. He told me about the great history of this club, about its living legends such [as] Bergkamp, Vieira and Pires, who owe a large part of their success to the manager.

“‘Too expensive, too greedy, bad body language, and lacking fight’ – this is what people have said about me”.

The Germans stay atop the standings followed by Northern Ireland, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Norway and San Marino. Get the app and get the game. Ozil has created 10 chances in the league so far – no player has created more. When I’ve played well, I hear you sing my song, and this makes me incredibly proud, giving me goosebumps every time.

You’re not going to tell me Alexis Sanchez is not a leader?

Ozil, and his team-mates, has come under fierce criticism from a number of former Arsenal stars such as Thierry Henry and Martin Keown.

“I believe there are different types of leaders on the field”. Ozil never shows up when Arsenal need him most. ‘When I leave the Emirates after a game, I see the fans standing along the street cheering.

The report also claims Gazidis “offered to meet anxious players and staff in the canteen for a chat and a cup of tea if they wanted to quiz him about the club’s actions”.

Mesut Özil scored the opening goal and assisted another during an incredible performance from the midfielder.

He will always provoke, excite, entertain and frustrate, but that’s what makes Ozil so enigmatic.

‘Even though I personally do not know how my career will continue after this year, I look forward to my fifth season with Arsenal.

His critics say he doesn’t work hard enough while the player himself wants them to “stop talking and start supporting“.

He added that they should now challenge for the title with an “improved squad”.
