But sometimes, these encounters don’t always go as planned and that’s exactly what went down between Riverdale stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse and a fan who went up to them on the street. The prick was like “who the f*ck are you” and was just so rude so I just walked away … because of the fact that I’m brown and considering he’s from Australia it makes ideal sense … Then, the fan began tweeting at the cast, at one point even calling them “disgusting and rude”. Us Weekly shared that Lili is now speaking out against these fans who called her and Cole “disgusting and rude”. That said, no matter you’re thoughts on the issue, cyberbullying is never acceptable and definitely shouldn’t be a reason to harass the fan in question.
Do not come for Cole Sprouse-girlfriend Lili Reinhart will not allow it.
The fan apparently spotted the cast hanging out over the weekend in the city the show shoots and chose to approach co-star Cole Sprouse to express her love for the show. “You know you’re signing up for the public to talk to you”. “What you did was not cool and inappropriate”.
“Cole’s response to you was ‘do I know you?’ After you rudely invaded our space and got in our faces”, she wrote. “I just wanna say F-K RUDE PEOPLE, don’t become a celeb if u want privacy, u get paid for having fans so respect them or be nice at least”. This fan was pumped to see two of the stars from a show she enjoys IRL, but perhaps her approach wasn’t ideal for Lili and Cole.
After that, she went on to explain that she knows this person felt like it was easy to make them look like the bad guys. They still aren’t talking about if they are dating, but Lili made sure to defend Cole regardless of what he is to her.
“Riverdale” returns to The CW on October 11.
