Madonna announces she’s moved to Portugal

This is where she longs to be: Madonna announced Saturday on Instagram that she has relocated to Lisbon to focus on upcoming projects. She has also helmed the films WE and Filth and Wisdom.

Madonna is getting into a new groove.

And it appears the littles ones are settling into life in Portugal very well so far, with reports suggesting 11-year-old David has passed trials at famed Portuguese soccer club Benfica in addition to being accepted into their youth academy.

Madonna posted that she feels creative and alive in Portugal and this will be the next chapter of her book.

“The energy of Portugal is so inspiring”. “It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point”, declared the Michigan-born singer.

A spokesman for the singer said she fell in love with the country after ending a tour there in 2004. You’re a successful white, wealthy pop star, ‘ but I’ve had the s- kicked out of me for my entire career, and a large part of that is because I’m female and also because I refuse to live a conventional life.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Madonna’s current film project “Loved” will be her first directorial effort since “W.E.”, a historical romantic drama released in 2011. She said that she created a very unconventional family and had younger lovers, which made “people very uncomfortable”.

The 98ft statue is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and Madonna may have posted it as a reference to the national poet of Portugal, Luís de Camões, who wrote a poem about the destroyed sculpture.
