Professional tattoo artist Chris Blinston was arrested in Florida on Friday after his 13-year-old daughter reportedly claimed he put both of his hands around her neck and strangled her, leaving her gasping for air.
Chris Blinston’s teen daughter is 5-foot-1 and 110 pounds, while Chris is 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds, the police report indicated.
A slew of reality contestants have gotten in trouble after appearing on TV shows and now, Ink Master star Chris Blinston has reportedly been arrested.
In between the alleged incidents, she claimed the two traded verbal barbs with him allegedly calling her a “mental skank” and warning her there would be repercussions if she told anyone about the incident, according to TMZ.
The police report indicates Blinston’s daughter’s airway was restricted for a total of around 17 seconds.
Her father was arrested on a felony domestic battery by strangulation charge and was released from jail after posting his $60,000 bail. After an initial investigation, the officers reportedly noticed strangulation marks around the 13-year-old girl’s neck. The report also stated that Blinston weighs about 100 pounds more than his daughter.
Blinston is the owner of No Hard Feelings Tattoo & Piercing in Coral Springs, Florida. He is denying all allegations, according to a source speaking with TMZ. Blinson started his tattoo career by serving in the Marine Corps, according to Spike.
Chris rose to fame when he competed in the sixth season of Ink Master, reaching the finals before losing to Dave Kruseman. He secured his first job at a tattoo parlor one year later.
