2K Sports and Visual Concepts is one of the select few third-party video game developers/publishers who is supporting Nintendo Switch fully.
Good news, bad news kind of day. This time around, a lot of big changes and finer tweaks are coming into the game, including a massively upgraded AI system.
In a bid to redefine online sports experience in video games, National Basketball Association 2K18 introduces The Neighborhood, a shared semi-open world that combines elements of MyCareer, The Park, and Pro-Am where player progression depends on one’s performance and actions. There are playgrounds where you can partake in practice matches, huge apparel and footwear stores, barber shops to get the coolest dos, gyms to work out in, and much more.
The new way to play combines the best of MyPARK, Pro-Am and the popular MyCAREER experience to create a shared world where players can immerse themselves into the game to socialize, explore and compete. You can check out the latest trailer for The Neighborhood below. You can run into Kyrie Irving getting a shave at the barbershop, compete on the courts, get a tattoo and more.
The NBA 2K18 Standard Edition will be available for $59.99 for PS4 and PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, Switch, and PC platforms on September 19, 2017.
