National Football League trade rumors: Seahawks shopping WR Jermaine Kearse

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is expected to be back by the team’s regular-season opener against the Green Bay Packers on September 10.

A report from ESPN’s Dianna Russini on Wednesday suggested the Seahawks were looking at potentially trading wide receiver Jermaine Kearse.

Speaking with reporters Tuesday afternoon, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson said this year’s group of wide receivers is the most talented yet for Seattle.

Unlike previous years, when the Seahawks and every other National Football League team would have had to cut their rosters from 90 players to 75 after the third exhibition game, there is now just one cutdown date.

“If Lock is ready to go, he will be involved in special teams”, Carroll said.

So what can we expect to see in Preseason Week 4?

“It’s another opportunity of acquisition for us, so we are going to treat it kind of like another draft process”, Seahawks general manager John Schneider said previous year. Jordan has practiced little, if at all, since signing with the team in April. Let’s take at my three bold predictions for the Raiders’ and Seahawks’ showdown during Preseason Week 4. Lockett is also one of five players who recently missed practice to undergo Regenokine treatment – a procedure where portions of blood are collected from the patient, spun, reheated and reintroduced into the body.

Dion Jordan was given a chance to restart his stalled career when he joined the Seattle Seahawks. It appears Seattle will give Paul Richardson first crack at starting opposite Baldwin this year, while Tyler Lockett will man the slot. The team drafted Amara Darboh in the third round and also has Kasen Williams vying to make the roster after a strong preseason.

Perhaps the biggest arguments can be made for Williams and McEvoy, who have both shined in the Seahawks preseason games. He is coming off a 2016 year in which he hauled in 41 receptions for 511 yards and a single touchdown.

Numerous starters won’t play Thursday night in the final 2017 preseason game for the Seahawks and Oakland Raiders. Despite playing 10 snaps in last week’s win over the Chiefs, Darboh has yet to catch a pass this preseason.
