For the unknown, Xiaomi first introduced the Redmi 4A to the Indian market back in March 2017. He, however, didn’t reveal if the current variant of the device too will be available. However, it was available only in one variant – 2GB RAM and 16GB storage for so long.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A has entry-level specifications on board, but it justifies the asking price. The device sports a 5-inch IPS display that offer HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 308 GPU.
On the imaging front, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a 13MP main camera at its rear with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and 5P lens. The Redmi 4A’s inbuilt storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). Besides the smartphone offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a micro USB port. Another highlight in the Redmi 4A is that it comes with a decent3120mAh battery, much better than what other vendors are offering. The device gets the power from a 3120mAh battery with support for fast charging. It comes with curved 2.5D glass on the front and will also come in matte black finish and gold colour options. The variant will retail at Rs. 6,999.
