Juventus chief reveals plans to sign Liverpool star

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus have agreed terms on a season-long loan with Schalke, thought to be in the region of €2.5-3.5m with an option to buy set at €11.5m.

Juventus have confirmed that they will have talks with Emre Can over a move away from Liverpool in January.

“I think he’d be a decent alternative for Van Dijk but it seems like Klopp only has eyes for him”, said one Liverpool fan.

Gianluca DiMarzio believe Howedes will undergo his medical examinations on Wednesday, with Juventus still eager to conclude a deal for Lazio winger Keita Balde, while Kwadwo Asamoah should also be free to complete a €10m move to Galatasaray.

“Juve wants it, Benedikt Howedes wants it – we have an agreement in principle”.

The 25-year-old has reportedly told Gunner boss Arsene Wenger that he wants to leave, with Serie A giants Inter Milan also preparing to rival the Old Lady for his signature.

Last season, Can made 32 Premier League appearances, scoring five goals and creating two assists. The versatile centre-back has spent his entire club career with Schalke since debuting for the first team in 2007.
