The new flights also mark Southwest’s first global service from San Jose to Mexico through the stop in Cabo San Lucas.
The new destinations will include New Orleans, Orlando, Cabo San Lucas, Austin and St. Louis.
In addition, the air carrier increasing the number of its flights to Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, Seattle and Portland, Oregon.
St. Louis travelers will soon have more nonstop flight options to California.
The airline will be adding 23 new weekly nonstop flights from Sacramento International Airport, beginning in the first quarter of 2018.
Nonstop flights will be offered daily, except to New Orleans, which will be available only on Sundays, and Cabo San Lucas, which will be available only on Saturdays.
With their expansion of non-stop flights, Southwest said it will expand it’s network of non-stop service to 45 markets.
