Mumbai University on Thursday informed Bombay high court that it would “strive” to declare final year BA/BCom/BSc results by August 31. This year around 79, 823 students had appeared for the papers of which 65, 992 are from the 6th semester and 13, 831 are from the 5th semester. The results can be accessed at mu.ac.in. The University has released the results of the three years integrated Bachelors of Commerce (TYBcom) for the 5th and 6th semester. The pass percentage in semester 5 stands at 60.92 per cent while that for semester 6 is 65.56 per cent.
The Mumbai University also declared results for 432 out of the 477 candidates who appeared for the fifth semester TYBCom examinations. Only 384 students managed to secure the “Outstanding” grade.
Candidates who are searching for the results of Mumbai University may check the 5th and 6th semester exam result online at the official website of the University at mu.ac.in once it is back. “The results will be available to students in a few hours as they are still being uploaded”.
Earlier, taking the serious note on the delays in the declaration of the results by the University of Mumbai, the Governor of Maharashtra CH Vidyasagar Rao asked the university administration to declare results of all courses by 31st July 2017. This will, however, be clear once the colleges receive the consolidated result for all students, the Times of India reported.
