The photos were obtained from the Olympic skier’s phone, which was recently hacked.
The photos were taken several years ago while Vonn, 32, and Woods were dating. Singer reportedly sent the site a similar letter back in December after it posted hacked photos of Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, who responded by telling the hackers to “kiss my ass”. Other names include Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart and Katharine McPhee, whose graphic photos were uploaded to the website Celeb Jihad, according to the report. McPhee has also sent a legal threat to the site, and the other parties are expected to follow suit.
Marty Singer, an attorney representing Woods, has threatened to sue the website if the photos of Tiger are not removed immediately.
“It is an outrageous and despicable invasion of privacy for anyone to steal and illegally publish private intimate photos”, Vonn’s spokesman says in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
