When Mayweather waved a $100 million check at McGregor during their Los Angeles press conference on Tuesday, the Irishman responded that it was “for the tax man”.
Yesterday, Conor McGregor wore a suit with pinstripes that literally had the words “Fuck You” written all over it.
Mayweather, 40, and McGregor once again delivered outside the ring as their promotional tour continued.
The stream went live from Toronto Canada tonight at 10.pm Irish Time on the UFC’s very own Youtube channel. If you are interested in going to the mega-fight on August 26, that information has also been released.
“The UFC is so big, Floyd Mayweather is undefeated and people have rallied about this with the boxing people saying this is a match between a professional boxer and an amateur”.
“I am fighting, and he is boxing”, McGregor said.
As per the Guardian, during the press conference, McGregor made fun of Mayweather?s clothes, mocked his unpaid tax bill and promised to knock the boxing great out in less than four rounds. “When Floyd was 28, he was on Oscar De La Hoya’s undercard”. He then made his way over to the podium where he sent a few money-based insults McGregor’s way. I love each and every one of you.
McGregor was in top from at the presser as he managed to get hold of a mic during Mayweather’s speech and interject when he saw fit. Ticket prices for the massive money fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao ranged from $1,500 to $7,500.
“You’re right, I’m the IRS and I’m going to tax your [expletive]”, Mayweather countered back. “They just don’t understand because in boxing they don’t come up here, they don’t understand the fanbase up here and how it works”.
