Amazon reveals Alexa’s Prime Day deals

Ahead of its Prime Day sale on 11 July, Amazon will give Alexa users access to exclusive advance offers.

Prime Day’s mid-July date was no accident – hooking customers as Prime members in midsummer makes it easier for them to turn to Amazon for back-to-school and holiday shopping, Misso said. Alexa-enabled devices, like the Echo, can help you track deals, too.

Starting today, you can ask Alexa, “What are your deals?” to learn the available Alexa voice deals that day.

Customers shopping with a gadget equipped with Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant will get access to Prime Day deals two hours before anyone else.

If Amazon really wants to show people it’s useful, why isn’t it offering shampoo, garbage bags, batteries and all-purpose cleaner? Amazon detailed a few of the deals that Alexa will have on offer today. Likewise, Amazon has also announced exclusive discounts and early access for deals through Alexa devices.
